20Week is one week where everyone building location-based experiences launches at the same time. Games, sound walks, AR, scavenger hunts, pop-ups, street performances, GPS-triggered anything—if it makes a place come alive, it belongs here.
No main stage. No festival grounds. You run your thing, we put you on the map. Free to participate. First year. Get in.
Already launched something? Relaunch it during 20Week. Still building? This is your deadline.
One experience launching alone = invisible.
Hundreds launching the same week = a movement.
Shared audience. Shared press. Shared energy. The density creates the magic—one experience leads to the next leads to the next.
Yes. Free to submit, free to participate, free to be listed. No fees, no revenue share, no catch.
Anything that gives people a reason to go somewhere specific. AR, audio tours, scavenger hunts, GPS-triggered content, pop-up performances, interactive theater, urban games, street art, spatial apps. If it makes a place come alive, it counts.
For 2026, yes. 20Week is NYC-only this year. Your experience needs to be accessible somewhere in the five boroughs during June 8-15.
You do. 20Week is the directory, not the organizer. You plan it, run it, and own it. We list it on the map so people can find it.
A directory listing on the 20Week map, inclusion in our marketing to experience-seekers, a shared launch week that creates density and audience, and a participant kit with assets you can use to promote your event.
Yes. Submit once per experience. If you're running three different things in three different neighborhoods, submit each one separately.
Submissions are open now through May 25, 2026. Earlier submissions get more visibility in our pre-launch marketing.
Free to participate. You run your event. We list it.
